How can I select my subselection?

Let’s say I press F2 and select all my economic buildings. Now I can cycle trough them using tab. From there, how can I only select one group? (so I can assign a control group, or center the camara in that building(s)?)

After selecting all of them, you can use ctrl+click and shift+click (in the UI where it says “All”, “1 Blacksmith” etc) to select or deselect unit groups.

Thank you very much.
Now, le’ts say I ctrl+click and select one type of building, from which I have 3 of them. How can I cycle camara through them? Is it possible? I know there are specific hotkeys for each type of building… but what about a key for doing that between the selected ones regardless of the type?
