How do you task griots to town center (to speed up villager production)? Right clicking griots to TC just garrisons them inside TC, not actually speed production.

Yeah this is a known bug. You can do it if you click on a singular Griot and then order to Inspire the TC. If they are on group, they garrison inside the TC
