They should carry on with this, regardless if there’s an update immedietely or later on this year - it’s a beneficial thing and they would be mad to stop it.

But yeah, why should the monthly activity,. that has already been coded in, and doesnt need any further work on be stopped ?
Its server sided. That demand doesnt make any sense.

Yeah I have had enough of monthly community activities now, so Microsoft should stop the challenge of civilized rotation, free version, and Should accept small updates and hotfix
You do know that its not because they are doing the rotation that they are not releasing updates right?
removing the rotation doesnt mean you get updates, thats just magical thinking

What’s wrong with the civ rotation on the free version? If anything it should increase sales by giving people a free introduction to the game (more players!). And as was already stated regarding the community challenges, I think it has already been coded into the game, meaning if they stopped the rotation tomorrow it wouldn’t free up resources for more updates.
We’ll probably get more stuff after the devs get back from working on Age of Myth. Either that or things will continue to slow down and we’ll only get quarterly updates (or updates every 6 months eventually, and probably less after that).
Either way, I don’t believe either of your suggestions will increase support. Discontinuing the civ rotation and community challenges will not increase update frequently (unless we’re misunderstanding what is going on, which is probably unlikely).
