How to decrypt RMS maps?

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a tool for decrypting .xs Rand Maps. I know that this is a countermeasure so that the expansion maps are not available to those who have not purchased them. But now that the game is Free to Play and everyone has access, is that still just as relevant?

I would just like to take a look at the map programming for a mini arcade map project. Is there someone who should be asked for permission or access to this?

Yes because the encrypted ones are still maps you need to buy if you want to play them. DLC is DLC.

You can get WoL and see if any of those maps is similar to what you want. Otherwise, join their discord and ask for help there. They have the most experience modding the game
