I trying a way to start city with a native civ enabled.
Example:
Starting Amazonia and your civ automatically train unity’s tupi without need to set trade post in tupi village.

Then you need to enable the unit for your city.
This includes
Enabling the native embassy
Enabling the unit you want to train.
For that you’d need to edit the " mapspecifictechs.xml "
Thanks. I gave up this idea but, i trying to train native settlers from Tradingposts, I editing techtreey , and i seting settlernative to nativetupi and edited protoy to place train option in the trading post. But When I run the game, the nativesettler are available in the towncenter while only the military units are available in the tradepost. I also put the tradepost as abstractTownCenter, and still nothing.
You may need a version of the unit that doesn’t have the subciv tag. I.e. enable the merc version of the native warrior, not he native version.
Let me see if I understand. In order for me to train villagers in trading post, do I need to turn them into mercenaries first? In this case, do I copy the entire SettlerNative and make the change by removing the subciv?
Whoops, I interpreted that backwards. Native units in general need to have the subciv tag in order to be trained at the native TP, and that needs to line up with the sibciv tech that enables them.
Can you copy your proto and techtree entry here?
You are right. I forgot to rename the new settler unit in trading post. Thanks
What is your end goal?
If it’s for an scenario and not a data mod, you could enable with triggers. You can do it for RMS, too, injecting triggers.
