Https://aoe2.net/ joining lobbies

Issue:

i joined a lobby from https://aoe2.net/ (which use steam api), as i did before, but this time, it took long time, so i decided to join another lobby, but any lobby i went to it switched me to the old one (the one that i picked at ao2.net) and finnaly after the old one started (which wasn’t there for me to join) i was able to join another lobby and start the game, but in match start screen (which shows players names and team and ping stats), all players banners were the same and no team and ping were shown and game never started.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. use aoe2.net to join a lobby (game should not be running so that steam will run it)
  2. before game join the picked lobby from aoe2.net you join another lobby

Its not an official site so it affecting your game somehow is probably nothing the devs will be looking into at all.

I agree with you and it doesn’t matter overall, but let them know, that might be an easy bug to fix :slight_smile:
