I hope to be allowed to set a feature that either prohibits others from spectating my games entirely, or increases the spectator delay to 15 minutes.
The current spectator system completely undermines fairness. Because I have a slight following online, many people are using the spectator function to “stream snipe” me and specifically “target” me in games.
They are employing various methods to destroy game fairness, including but not limited to smurfing and using the spectator function for screen-peeking.
I don’t quite understand why competitive matches are not protected by privacy. I am just a normal person, and I do not want others to know what I am doing in the game.
Must engaging in a fair and public match be like an actor being watched by an audience?
I know that perhaps legally, a public match is defined as a public scene, viewable by anyone, just like a park. However, as an individual, I strongly dislike this.
In any case, I hope there can be a setting button to block others from spectating me, or at least provide much greater delay. I do not want others to see what I am doing through spectating, and then dispatch troops and attack me in a targeted manner.
