Japanese have one fake revolution card called 47 Ronins, which has the enormous cost. I think the revolution choice should give all countries rather than just give European countries and Mexican. For example, you can add TaiPing Heavenly Kingdom (1851-1864) for Qing Dynasty and add some other revolution choices for Asian, African civilizations.
(non card) Revolutions are a euro/colonial feature
Would also be a bit weird for asian civs, since they normaly age up by using wonders, so over what menu would they revolt? In tc? By building a revolt wonder?
But i would enjoy a revolut card for china…
And the japanese consulate “meji revolution” should provide additional effects… since its super expensive and you dont get a wonder
I think Asian countries can building one revolt landmark to go revolution or use one unique technology such as Meji restoration in Japanese consulate to go revolution, and bring Asian countries additional and powerful effects
Revolt wonders is actually an interesting idea on how to implement this. Or even funnier, have a button to tear down a wonder to revolt lmao.
The Porcelain Tower was destroyed in the Taiping rebellion so that would actually be a perfect fit.
Haha if you destroy it or it gets destroyed all villagers turn violent xD nice
Indeed, that was my inspiration lol.
Will each wonder have it’s own revolt tied to it or simply destroying wonder gives us ability to revolt
