If the internet goes down I cannot play the AI

I am in the middle of playing the AI and the internet drops. I get a splash screen saying I must sign into xbox. F3 will not pause the game and I cannot sign in as the internet has dropped. I should be able to play the AI without internet access.

You’re playing alone on a offline standard game against AI or on the multiplayer? If you’re on a standard game I can’t see how a internet connection should interfer. You’re playing via game pass?

I start the game and get a box (Sign into xbox live) or Exit are the only two options.
An xbox live sign in box comes up and I can’t get into the game without the internet to play the AI.

Can’t you simply log on your Microsoft Account then play?
