Immediate loss upon loading a campaign savegame

Issue:

In multiple instances, I have saved the game in the middle of a campaign mission so I could come back later, and when I attempted to load that save, the mission was immediately failed even though there was no reason for failure at the time of saving. Specific missions, in case it’s relevant:

  1. Saved in the middle of Arkantos’s dream sequence mission right when they switch to red colors and need to board the boats. Loading multiple times, immediately failed. For some reason, managing to grab one of the units and move it allowed me to continue
  2. Amanra’s mission for the Osiris piece, saved in the middle of building up my base. Loading the save immediately loses the mission, can’t resolve, need to restart.

Trigger Event:

Saving in the middle of a campaign mission, continuing from the main mission.

Repro Steps:

  1. Save a campaign mission in the middle
  2. Continue from main screen
  3. I was able to reproduce this, but I really doubt it happens every time
