Incompetent Vills defaulting to wood on multi-type resource gathering hubs

Can you fix your incompetent villager game AI defaulting vills to wood when I have them right next to wildlife? It literally makes 0 sense. Why would you design factions with one gathering hub if players have to micromanage to make sure ytheir vills didn’t gather the wrong resource?

I just shift-right click the villagers to what i want them to gather after placing the buildings, sometimes you need 4 on wood and 2 on gold or w/e.
I think only Dwarves have automatic favoritism for one resource. (IIRC, it was buried in patch notes some time ago)

And both Greeks and Norse from the original game have multi-resource return sites (Storehouse, Ox Cart). It’s not a new design oversight, it’s a feature for those pantheons and part of their learning curve.
