Indian Civs with their respective Medieval Era Kingdoms/Empires

I compiled a list of Indian Civs with their respective dynasties/kingdoms/empires in the medieval era. Of course I may still be missing a few names in the list, if you notice any, you can point me out. But it gives you an idea why Indian Subcontinent needs more than one civs in order to be represented properly in AoE2 timeperiod.

I hope that among the new civs South Asian civs are planned.

well if they dont then we can simply say they dont care bout our history

Or it’s just a question of sales. I think though that such an expansion would sell well.

i dont think so… there are many player in south asia than ever before… in my country people had to play potato pc as game wasnt so much popular… like myself who had a pantium 2 pc with 128 mb ram in 2014… during this time many played aoe 2 as there was no game to run… and now they are still sticking to this game, so ya if they think about sales then thats not an issue… the issue is if they want to go outside of europe or not

I’m pretty sure Rise of the Rajas sold well. Civs that are “exotic” to the mainstream North American/European consumers tend to do well, as long as the content’s solid, Regardless of what marketing suits think. And with the caliber of designers FE has on board, I have full confidence any campaign content would be top-notch.

It’s incredible the amount of empires, dinasties, ethnicities and cultural groups in medieval India. Even if we split the indians in 3 different civs they would still be big umbrellas. So sad we’re running out of design concepts for new civs. I would have liked to have 100 civs in the game, but that’s not going to be possible.

I’m pretty confident we’ll be getting more than 40

I don’t think we need 13 Indian civs…
Tell me the biggest 3 (I am uneducated with India).

Sales would be better in europe I would imagine.not like everyone in aisa has money to buy the game.

Which of these are the biigest?

I think one of these Indian civs plus Siam (Thai) and Scenarion for both + Chinese scenario could do good.

This site needs national flags for each user displayed similar to aoezone…

Yes I will need at least 4 flags to display my ethnicities

That is a fact but also it should give people some restraints on the first place. If they give legitimate argument it should not matter where they are from but it is also good to know if someone is really biased.

The issue with that, is that calling someone biased by virtue of nationality, is far easier than actually engaging in the argument.

I admit I am very biased because my ethnicities are as follows:
Lithuanian
Polish
Czechian
French
Welsh
Irish
Basque
Algonquin

Thank you all

Don’t worry. We are all eagerly waiting for those absolutely essential civilizations to be added, so your every ethnicity can finally be properly represented in this game.

NEXT DLC Bohemians and Swiss!!

No, you’re mistaken, because then it’s not a seperate independent ethnic group in the first place.

Why would we add them

We are both an ethnic group and an umbrella name for groups that use an Algonquin language
