The Indonesian Revolution’s “Sumatran Elephants” Card appears to increase the population requirements of each elephant by 1, rather than the elephants requiring one population point entirely. I.E. if you send 6 of these cards, each elephant will require 6 population space.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Play Portuguese or Dutch
  2. Select Indonesian Revolution
  3. Deploy multiplicity of Sumatran Elephants card.

Elephant units should take up 1 population space apiece (recommend 2/apiece in line with standard cavalry).

I though it was intended at first to put the scaling potential of this card to the ground, but you are right about the point about the patch note description that was :
Sumatran Elephants (infinite): Also adds 1 population space cost to War Elephants.

And here indeed each card send increase the population space by one, so if you send the card 10 times it will cost 10 pop spaces, which is…doubious and sounds like a bug more than an intended nerf to make those natives costing pop spaces like a lot of cards.

Question to devs : make Elephant costing more and more pop spaces with the infinite card was the intented mechanics for real ?
