Open the game and the video/audio cracks a lot. Same files play just fine on any other video player.

Here’s how to reproduce the issue:

  1. Open the game and wait.

You can avoid the intro if you wish by typing SKIPINTRO (in steam launch options for aoe2de)

(not saying that the bug is justified, but for the meanwhile u can avoid it if you want)

also bonus fact about launch options(for those who might find it useful): you can use 2x, 4x and 8x gameplay speed in singleplayer by typing DEBUGSPEEDS in launch options
