Is the ability to commandeer neutral buildings a bug/exploit/feature?

I’ve experimented with this in Skirmishes against AI and a little bit in multiplayer after the fate of the game is decided.

But I want to know if this is recognized as a bug/exploit or if it’s a partially implemented feature? Mostly wondering if I should not be using this in multiplayer and also reporting people who do; or is this just fair game?

It’s not only fun but also natural that once you defeat an opponent you can get some kind of rewards from them.

It seems to only work on their secondary (non lamdmark) bldngs… im thinking its a purposeful hidden gem… whats else to do with abandoned fully functional bldngs
