Native American and African factions reveals at the beggining of the match where are the minor civs located. At first I thought that was a bonus to the Warchief civs, but now African civs also get them. Any reason behind? Just to know if is a conscious decision.

Because it assumes that Europeans and Asians are new to the place, while American or African civilizations are hosts.

Pretty sure Asians do if you are playing on an Asia map

No, they arent.
WC are natives from America, then they can see TPs.
Africans can see TP cause they are their allies aging up options.
