My new computer only supports 1080p, but I haven’t been able to activate DSR.
Even when I maximize the zoom out setting, it’s not enjoyable. I can’t see much of the game; it’s like playing AOE2 on PS2.
Please increase the maximum zoom out setting.
I’ve seen many topics in “report a bug” or “ask for help,” but if it’s not fixed, it means it’s not a bug.
Is this for AoE2 or AoE4?
For aoe2. For reference, today I can’t see more than my base in cba. It’s very small.
Before on 4K, I was able to see 1/4 of the map.
yes, when i active dsr in nvidia graphic settings, aoe2 settings dont show higher resolution. Hope it will be fix
You was able to 1/4 of the map? Can you tell me that kind of cheat?!
Not sure if it’s a full 1/4 of the map but you can see a very large part of a 1v1 map if you fully zoom out with the far zoom settings on a large monitor.
Not sure if you can zoom out more without the 4K texture pack.
Is not a cheat, i used to play on a bigger monitor and it allows it to see your entire base on just one screen, but when i changed to a smaller monitor the zoom didnt allow me to see more than the sorrounding area of my TC. The zoom distance is tied to your screen resolution, i never found a way to change it sadly

I hope than one day they will patch that. We see less things than on a 1999 pc with aoe2
