Thank you for taking the time to read this. I love AOE4 and look forward to playing it with my brother and cousin once a week.
I just downloaded the new update and patch today, and the game is not working properly. Every time I start the game, the menu screen graphics are messed up. I cannot see what buttons I am clicking on. Everything is so bright, and no changes to my graphics settings could fix this. My first thought was to redownload the game after I didn’t have any luck with the game settings or restarting my computer. The game still did not work properly or look normal after redownloading the game. Next, I thought it might be my graphics card. I didn’t think this would be an issue though because my laptop meets all the specs. Upon closer look at the performance of my computer, the GPU is completely maxed out when I start up AOE4. This doesn’t seem right though because the game worked just fine right before the update.
Does anyone know how to fix this, or has anyone else had this problem with their computer? I would post pictures of the issues I am having, but I don’t think that new members can post pictures. Any help would be much appreciated.
