Hi,
I’m experiencing an issue with the French Mastery titled “Companions” in Age of Empires IV. I’ve followed all the requirements as described, but the mastery won’t unlock.
Here’s what I’ve done:
- Played a skirmish match against AI on easy difficulty.
- Did not load any saves during the game.
- Maintained a stable connection to the servers.
- Completed the match fully and waited until the victory screen.
- Trained more than 25 Light Cavalry units only (no other cavalry types), and they were all alive at the end of the match.
- All previous masteries have been unlocked and completed.
Despite all this, the mastery still does not register.
I’ve even tried variations, including multiplayer vs AI, mixing cavalry types, and verifying game files — with no success.
Is this a known bug, or is there an unlisted requirement for this mastery to trigger?
