It has been confirmed that Saxon monks could pose a tremendous threat to Korean civilization

The photo shows the Saxon monastery route that will appear this time, and it has been confirmed that it can be upgraded to “Heretic.”

However, it was confirmed that the Dain tribe’s monastery is set so that the “heresy” upgrade is not possible.

Like the indigenous Korean unit “Turtle Ship” from long ago, the Viking civilization’s “Longship” was one of the units that was highly advantageous in naval battles, and because its weakness was “no dual immunity,” it was one of the units that, when numbers gathered, occupied a very advantageous position in naval combat. However, with the appearance of the Saxon people, the Vikings completely eliminated this weakness and were able to secure a more advantageous position in naval battles than Joseon’s “Turtle Ship.”

For reference, “Longship” has now become almost invincible in naval battles, thanks to the special skill “Voxwigir” added in the April 2023 patch, which allows it to increase its firepower. Now, in naval combat, it has become almost invincible enough to secure victory even against Saracen’s “Galleon” and “Turtle Ship.”

There will no longer be any nation or civilization that can defeat the Vikings in a “sea battle.” Of course, China’s Hualong ships do exist, but because they are more expensive economically than Longships and do not receive any benefits, they can no longer defeat Longships in naval warfare.

I heard Liereyy say that after the recent water overhaul, Fire Ships now counter Longships well (or at least much more easily than they did previously).

I don’t play water maps myself so I don’t know. But I’ll trust Liereyy on that.

I feel like your fancy wordplay is really making it hard to understand what you’re saying. Props for trying to sound prim but I don’t understand at al

I don’t think English is the guy’s first language, but I might be wrong.

Fair point but I still have no idea what is being said. Something about Heresy?

I have no clue either.

This is probably referencing the Vikings UT “Bogsveigar”. It was actually a nerf to Longboats, because with the tech they have the same attack as before that patch.

And after the water overhaul (early 2026) Longboats are a bit easier to counter with Fire Ships.

Saxons have Heresy, indeed, but this has little impact on naval battles.

Longboats will be reworked into Longships, and we don’t know yet what are the new stats.
