Since he’s the jaguar god, maybe add unlocking Jaguar Riders in the Heroic Age either through his unique tech or as a god bonus. It would open up more strategic options for the Aztecs.

I’d actually prefer them being available for all Aztecs in general, but if there’s only one way to do it, Tezcatlipoca unlocking them in Heroic Age makes the most sense thematically.

It fits the identities really well Quetzalcoatl as the Eagle Warrior-focused god, Huitzilopochtli tied to Shorn Ones and War Hut units, and Tezcatlipoca leaning into myth units plus Jaguar Riders alongside Ocelotls.

Sounds like a reasonable bonus and could also make the campaign more interesting since you are limited to the Heroic Age in all missions you play as Tezcatlipoca.

Quetzalcoatl could get early access to Eagle Warriors but that might be too powerful, especially with his bonus for them.
