Finns Prussians(pagans once) Albanians.
Sinhaleese kannadigas kalingans.
Siamese
Moors Kurds
Same thing. Not that I wouldn’t mind a whole Bantu filled expansion of like 5 Bantu civs
Kurds, Nubians, Andalusians, Somalis, and Yemenis from my MENA concept. Kurds could ideally be split into Kurds and Daylamis, but they were closely related peoples living similar lives so an umbrella is acceptable too.
Yemeni campaign: The next DLC should be Middle Eastern - #49 by smiki5five
East and South Africa:
The Americas:
Moundbuilder architecture set could also get the Calusa civ:
And American Southwest the Chumash:
Just for fun like even if it makes 0 sense? Kingdom of Jerusalem, Papal States, Gauls, Romano-British, Moors,
Back in Eurasia:
Late Europeans: Dutch, Swedes(Kalmar Union), Habsburgs
Balkans: Croats, Serbs, Valachs
The forgoten Ts of Asia: Thai, Tibet, Tanguts
North Americans: Mississippians, Pueblos, Hougdunese
Imperial West Africa: Kanembornu, Hausa, Songhai
East Africa: Somalis, Nubians, Swahili
Coast of Africa: Benin, Kongo, Yoruba
The Forgoten of Africa: Zimbabwe, Gahna, Wolof
Ancient Chronicles: Assyrians, Babylonians, Egyptians
I’d like to see Chinese, Koreans, Inca. They were in the game when I bought it, but have been taken away
Tibetans
Tanguts
Gokturks
Meitei
Mon
Khazars/Khazaks
Hepthalites
Avars
Somali
Vlachs
Serbs
Albanians
Nubians
Tibetans
Tibetans, Tanguts and Uyghurs are the only correct answer.
Suitman sucks.
The Dutch should be represented by the Frisians, imo.
Maybe add Somali due to current geopolitical reason.
This.
Also everyone from an area covered by a DE DLC. So for example:
Asked the AI to split the japanese into clans and below are the results. I sincerely hope we dont go down this road in future.
Takeda Clan (Cavalry & Cavalry Archer Focus)
Identity: Famous for their feared Akazonae (Red Armored) cavalry.
AoE2 Role: Cavalry/Cavalry Archer civilization. They would likely get bonus armor or movement speed for Light Cavalry and Mounted Archers, replacing the traditional fast-attacking infantry meta.
Unique Unit: Mounted Samurai / Red Armor Cavalry.
Oda Clan (Gunpowder & Infantry Focus)
Uesugi Clan (Defense, Religious & Monk Focus)
Mōri Clan (Naval & Economic Focus)
Otomo Clan (Gunpowder & Western Trade/Conversion Focus)
Shimazu Clan (Elite Infantry & Aggressive Melee Focus)
Swahili:
Naval and Defensive civilization
• Houses replaced with Nyumba (Costs 10 Stone. Fires one arrow. (2 pierce attack, 3 second reload, cannot garrison units))
• Can build Coral Walls, upgrade for free to Stone walls in Feudal.
• Stone miners drop off 20% more Stone
• Masonry, Architecture Free, and affect Ships
Unique Unit:
• Mtebe Marine
(Swahili pistolier 5/7 pierce damage and Melee 4/6 melee attack 0/1 base armor.)
Fires a pistol at 3-5 range; switches to blade fighting at point-blank range. (Dead zone at 1-2 range)
Mtebe Marine uniquely benefit from Archer Armor and Melee Attack upgrades.
Unique Techs:
• Bandari Guard (Mtepe Marines train 25% faster and gain +2 bonus damage versus siege weapons and monks.)
• Coastal Assault (Mtebe Marines now ALSO benefit from Archer Attack upgrades and Melee Armor upgrade in the blacksmith. Can now also climb stone walls without need of a siege tower.)
Note: The Swahili do not Get Blast Furnace or Ring Archer Armor
Team Bonus:
• Trade Carts and Trade Cogs move 15% faster, +2 LoS
The Swahili have a below average military. Crossbowman, Cavalier, 2 handed swordsman, Pikeman, Light Cavalry, Weak Siege, and missing key upgrades. Their UU is their only real chance. This is by design as their bonuses are quite substantial for defense, usually allowing them to setup fairly well. A civ designed to be a defensive flank. A very unique niche. Though the Mtebe is quite weak to Cavalry Archers, the Swahili do get access to Heavy Camel Riders, though they aren’t impressive.
Feedback welcome!
