Oh man, this is just a weaker version of the Iroquois bonus I originally had and then got rid of. It was two archers at the main TC after every age up. I think it was criticized for being too strong. Maybe this one isn’t.

Some kind of unique university building would be fun to have.something like research techs close to it will be faster or cheaper or garrisoning monks or villagers will generate gold(university fees)

Maybe train Scholars. A unique unite with some kind of boost ability in your eco, buildings workrate or tech research time…

I asked a Monastery+University for Tibetans.

  • TCs spawn 1 scout cavalry upon reaching the next age.
  • Stable techs spawn a scout cavalry upon researched.

Then you will have a building with 2 pages as there are multiple techs.Plus you loose one age up building if you loose either uni or monastery.

A unique house would also be cool but what can it do is questionable.giving more pop space is already used.

My idea had no monastery techs as their would be a new monk with a better stat.

That’s a good point. Maybe consider it as a Castle.

Now this is interesting.even tho you loos a age up building you save a ton of gold in upgrades.
But the question comes where do you deposit the relic?id imagine the tc and uni are the only buildings that could be used for this.

I think I misunderstood the bonus.I was thinking there was no monastery building at all.

If the only use of the building is the deposit the relics and train monk and uu monk why not just remove the entire building?

There is no monastery, nor university. Instead this building will do the job for both.

-Siege weapons fire +5% faster for each Longswordsman in a 2 tiles radius. Stackable up to 35%.

  • Siege Engineers can be researched at Siege Workshop. (Honestly won’t change much as you will already have an university before Imperial Age anyway. If anything it is actually a bad thing as you can’t produce siege during researching).

  • Thumb Ring, Parthian Tactics, Ballistics and Chemistry can be researched in Blacksmith.
