Good point, I’d forgotten that. For Gurjaras it’s an Imperial Age unique tech, though, so this would come in sooner. I guess the bonus would have to be pretty high, though, because Gurjaras’ camels are cheaper and have more bonus damage once fully upgraded.
Gurjaras have husbandry and I’m suggesting to remove the tech from them ever since their introduction.
Either that. Or old Indians Camel +1/+1 armor as a civ bonus should be introduced for future civ.
Fire ship line and demo ship line gets charge attack.
Other than extra pierce armor, there is basically no camel bonus is left. Also if we look at the existing camel civs, all cover a second category as well.
Saracens - Camel+Naval+Archer+Monk+Siege and even +Cav Archer back in pre-DE.
Berbers - Camel+Cavalry+Naval.
Malians - Camel+Cavalry+Infantry
Hindustanis - Camel+Gunpowder
Gurjaras - Camel+Cavalry+Elephant
Khitans - Camel+Cavalry+Infantry+Cavalr Archer
Basically all are covered.

A new civ that deals bonus damage against all old civs’ units.
At least it would be more honest.

Start with +150 food. (Old Lithuanians bonus).
When I was devising my Micronesians concept, I was told this was too broken and made dropping Castles too easy. I ultimately lowered it to 50.
Yeah. 100 sounds too much. But 50 sounds too little. Maybe 75 is the sweet spot.
For a defensive civ, perhaps. It would allow them to place two towers in the Feudal Age and still have enough for another Town Center in the Castle Age. With 50, you can only drop one tower and not disrupt your boom.
Surely it cant be that much stronger than Sicilians who get a building bonus and +100 stone or -162.5 stone for every old Frankish castle.
Hmm. Maybe they need to lose watch tower like Sicilians.
Sicilians don’t have tower. And 200 free stone is stronger than old pre-nerfed Franks,
No. That would ruin the civ’s defensive theme. I think I’ll stick to 50 stone.
They can get a unique building like Sicilians.
