the community has been asking for this since day 1.
the team in charge of aoe2 either:
a) doesn’t read the forums
b) reads them and doesn’t care/doesn’t want to implement this
c) can’t implement this simple feature
or a combination of the above

reminder to the devs this still not fixed and the rematch button is kinda useless
