Seems like once the game starts it takes about 5 minutes then is out of sync. I wait to see if it will resync, but most people just quit.
This was a problem in the old game, so they need to get it fixed before release. It’s probably why the game was delayed - it’s a nasty little thing to try and get rid of, I imagine
