The Aztecs have no means to deny a dock in Imperial Age. Massed Galleons can keep up with FFS which are also cheaper on gold.
Either way, it will be a terrible fight.
Too bad Aztecs have a bonus called ārelics generate +33% goldā. And if you want to deny a dock war galleys kill villagers just fine.

the point he was making was that Aztecs would end the game before it got to Imperial, because they have an insane economic advantage and faster production means they can get ahead early, clean up any navy you have and your fishing ships, and then go for a landing to finish you off if you havenāt given up yet.
