I hope the devs add the legionary to the Byzantines it would really be amazing asthetics since also i spotted their shield on the Byzantine castle along with cataphracts shield !!! what do you guys think will the devs will this awesome change happen?!

I’d very much like this, seems odd to include the shield if they have no intention of representing in the army.
Without the roman tech they would be less effective but that seems fine, as they are the Romans special unit first and foremost.
Not having two infantry upgrades in imperial is a bonus in and of itself.

I sadly think it’s only there for .. Historical purpose, as it was a symbol and a helmet type used by the byzantine too.
I’d love to have legionaries on them too, but it seems to not be on the plans right know.
Or rather, I wish we’d have the spear version of that legionaries, the Limitani, that could be interesting to replace halberdier with a unique roman style shield-spear soldier.
