Loki vs Atlanteans / Norse vs Atlanteans, impossible matchup

Is the matchup broken or are Norse/Atlanteans broken in Retold?

of course you can call me a bad player if that makes the discussion more interesting.

But at this point it feels just unfair, especiallly Loki who can lose 3 baracks a temple and isolated units as I try a counter rush and then wins a fight as easy as it can be. Are Atlanteans this weak?

Things that seem a bit broken to me in the matchup(/in general):

    • TAs perform better than Turma at everything, backline dmg performance to even destroying buildings for some reason, even doing well in classical. Countering them moves the squishy Turma in arms length of the enemy infantry, paper to be shred yet again.
  2. Raiding cav perform better than Turma at everything just like above.
  3. All infantry seems to perform better at everything surviving frontline longer and doing more dmg than the murmillo.
  4. Cheap and fast building Berserkers whenever needed → villagers are somewhat untouchable until you reach age 3 as Atlanteans.
  5. Norse can build buildings everywhere whereas Atlantean infantry strugles to destroy buildings. To the Norse, any building is paper.
  6. Generally much stronger Myth units across the board (with some obv. outliers of course). Even Stymphalian birds underperform these days.

I play both civs. Mained Norse in EE and genuinely feel like some devs dislike the Atlanteans.

Generally the metagame right now HEAVILY favors the norse as asside from Freyr, all of the norse gods are top 5 (and Freyer is 6) and the only gods not not norse in the top tier are Possidon who has some of the game’s best cav and the ability to summon hunt, and Gaia, who has the best eco in the game.
