BTW aztecs can still research wheelbarrow. It’s actually almost the same boost to their eco as for other civs.

Joa that’s basically the definition of “situational” that it is seen but not really the identity of the civ. Their Identitiy is the cavalry and you can’t deflect this by trying to shift the perspective.

I was actually mostly referring to TG there. And in TG with full scout spam it’s fairly common to get bloodlines as fast as possible.

It’s problematic cause it would mean that franks could spam paladin way longer which is a huge deal with the 192 hp palas of them. It’s often a very close battle if it gets to this stage with the franks palas vs archer/halb and if the franks player has like a 2nd “shot” with more palas he can make aftert the initial big battle it’s a huge difference. 208 HP Palas would need the same amount of hits from halbs to be brought down.
And in TGs it would mean that the Franks player could spam palas also longer before he has to set up trade which also makes a big difference.

And in general these “refund when dying” things are weird cause you get a benefit for “losing” units. It’s absurd. The game should revard for keeping units alive longer. Like with regen or the tatars UU gold generation.
