Lumberjack got stuck, I thought this was fixed

I don’t have AoE2 DE. I am reporting a bug based off of a video.

Lumberjack got stuck who was on an outer edge initially. See video.

  • Less than 25% of the time / matches I play (RARELY)

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Try to arrange villagers as in the video. It might not work, as it seems the villager in the video should not have gotten stuck.

Patch notes suggested this shouldn’t happen. Maybe this could be the fix: “villagers that get stuck, with no way to path to their destination, get a slightly reduced collision size for a brief time.” This is probably inferior to ‘bumping’ mechanics, in which a stuck villager causes other villagers or units to move out of the way (with priority based on how long they’ve been stuck, in cases of immense traffic jams with 50 villagers trying to mine a gold tile with forest on six of eight sides), but might be a relatively easy fix.
