Lycaon

I see people on Reddit and other platforms still arguing about who is the better choice among hera Hephaestus or artemis, but there are far more important things to be concerned about and Lycaon is one of them.

In summary, go with the kataskopos or any other unit to the enemy base.

Attack the lycaon villager with your unit and watch Demeter’s economy collapse because werewolf can’t transform into villager again, unless the player pays 300 food and 20 favor in Classical Age.

Seriously, I don’t see many people talking about this exploit. This is by far the most embarrassing issue of this DLC, along with the extremely clunky myth units.

Why didn’t they fix this mess in the last patch goes beyond my comprehension.

Because nobody makes Lyacons in any serious game play scenario and expects to win.

If you can afford so many Lyacons that such an exploit will hurt you, then you can also get that upgrade. You are better off diverting that resource to a fast age3

They would be a bit more useful and less clunky if you can transform them at your will without having to spend all that resources, especially when the first 2-3 of them get hit by the scout unit early on.

Pan would be still rather useless because he totally lacks of any military-focused upgrades, but not that much at least.

But I agree that everything about this DLC feels either clunky, useless or weak.
