Macedonian and Tughlak feel a bit bland

The Golden Horde was fun because it had so many changes. It’s now my favorite civilization. However, Tughlak and Macedonian feel even more bland than the original. Tughlak offers virtually no bonuses to units other than elephants. You essentially have to rely on elephants, and your opponent will have to prepare counters. Tughlak needs other combat advantages, like its own unique units. Macedonian has Viking mercenaries that replace existing units, but the rest of the mechanics are too stale. You have to play until the very late game to enjoy the benefits of its unique blacksmith upgrades. I’m not a Professional gamer, so I don’t know how good those civilizations are, but they’re a bit boring to play. It feels like playing England or France.

Oh wow, I got a cake! :cake:

Yea that is true, especialy for the macedonians. They have same buildings same voices and theme song. Landmarks are also poorly designed, they give almost the same benefits. Cistern of the first hill is very borring I would rather have the old cistern where I can heal my units rather than increasing production speed or getting resources which I dont get at all so confusing. It is like they were put together in a hurry. Silver ingots on the ground is nice touch though.
