Main menu message saying to update mods wont go away

Issue:

Hi when i start the game it will tell me to update mods but it wont tell me which ones to update and thus wont go away. I have uninstalled all the mods and only downloaded the season event mod but it still remains annoying me and prompting me to update.

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to report this to us. To fix this, try deleting age3-mod-status.json in your mods folder. This can be found at C:\Users\Username\Games\Age of Empires 3 DE\ID_NUMBER\mods

I bought it on Steam will it still be the same way?
