Map Generation Balance Issues

Enough room three blocks of wall and a gate. Elephants fit through gates, but not the passage the gate was built in after the gate was destroyed. Its a bug.

1 Wall can give a player 2/2 Sacred sites and 3 relics in the first couple minutes. They also get a protected trading post lol.

what is unfair? Who has advantage and why? so many questions.
why civilisations can be assymetric but maps can not?

Red is way closer to water, gives him unfair advantage if you ask me. The rest is late game resource placement which might not matter in 80% of the games.

Weird comparison because with your logic, when you pick one civ many time, you can expect different tech randomly lol.

There are different kind of maps, so maps are “assymetric”, the question is, what level of rng is acceptable

  • Unfair advantage 1vs1 PvP automatch on Nigari (TaĂŻga Summer) 28c55eac
  • Player on left side : lake with 3x1k fishes, 1x2k fishes = 5k food
  • Player on right side : lake with 8x1k fishes + 4x2k fishes = 16k food
    By the way player on the left side (me) struggled to place shipyard without losing 2x1k fishes because of the small lake size and the forest trees, so started with only two fishes (1x1k + 1x2k = 3k food). On the other side, right player had plenty of place to place his shipyard by losing only 1k fishes (so started with 15k food)
  • Result after shipyard placement : **3k food (2 fishing locations) Versus 15k food (11 fishing locations)

Map seed 1548cb06 Black Forest. Half of the map is cut off by trees. I don’t think it’s meant to be this way? It felt like we were playing on half a map.

This big lake in the top (inaccessible due to trees) as well with the dead trees in it. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a lake this big on 2 player black forest. Something is up here?
