The game is almost 2 years old but we still don’t have basic functions like a map ban. This is very bad for both competitive players who will Alt-F4 at the frustrating maps leading to longer queue times and for newer players who are forced to learn water build orders or get used to unorthodox maps. Lack of new maps in the pool is also a big issue since there are so many interesting maps we only get to see the pros play in tournaments, so a monthly map rotation should keep things fresh for every player. Also allow players to star a certain map they like just like aoe 2 does so they can play on maps they actually want to play in. Theres also plenty of room to put it in like the example below

We shouldn’t have to play the maps we really don’t want to play.
I also believe this will allow for more maps to be in the ranked map pool, possibly a return of the greatest map of all time (Mt Olympus)

Every other RTS and AoE game has this feature. Why doesn’t Retold still have it? DEVS PLEASE.

At this point I’ve lost faith that this is ever gonna be implemented in Retold, but of course the suggestion is still great and this should’ve been added in the game since its original release or shortly after.
Long overdue! Way better to have this than people alt f4-ing
