there are not enough bans! I want to ban every map except my Homemap. I don’t want to play any other map. Why do you force me to play maps I don’t want to play? That’s not fun. make me feel bad.
I like my homemap and it’s not boring to me to play the same map over and over again. i would prefer to wait another 5 mins to get my map than playing others.
I will start to resign every other map now, because it’s no fun to me to play it. And it will #### ## the ranked elo. But who cares?
BTW why you don’t fix pathing. it should be a hotfix or at least priority number one.
i really love this game. but if you don’t fix it soon, i will stop playing until it’s fixed.
Well I supose you can see the issue from different angles.
If you want that ELO reflects the overall skill level of players, then you should be “forced” to play as moe different maps as possible.
In that case, ranked games aren’t for you.
Other perspective is give players the most satisfying experience through full customization of their games. Bit then, ELO could be only a fake, fantasy number, because you could be really good but only in a little niche.
The problem is that there is no other good alternative for ranked games. Lobby matches are really frustrating, and Quick play doesn’t work.
I proposed a time ago, make an hybrid system where you play ranked games, and have unlimited bans but each ban you use impacts in how many points you lose or win at the en of a match.
For example, if you use too much bans, and win the game, will earn a few points. But if you lose, you will lose several points.
