Exactly…
I’ve played 2 2v2 matches today.
Lost the first one, when enemies were WAY higher elo/rating again.
On that acc I am plat1 right now.
2nd match the enemies were again higher rank, one of them was dia3 in team last season, the other one high plat.
Fortunately for my random mate and me, one of the enemies (who were premades!!!) lost connection early on, so we won the match after the 2nd one resigned.
I thought they fixed that in the hotfix ?!?
Still seeing many crashes… Maybe its a 2years anniversary gift in advance, it’s a feature.
When playing vs highranks, one of them crashes, so you gain lots of elo lol.
Also, found the matches really quickly, so the bandwidth while searching in first minutes is already HUGE, which is a big problem. This should not happen.
The 2 premades might have been queue-dodged a few times and hence their rank-bandwidth while searching for a game must have broadened massively and it’s kind of to match them with people of a big rank difference.
I on the other side, just entered the queue and get these in my lobby.
Please do something about this. It’s super frustrating.
Edit:
I have played in silver-platinum range this season, as I have 2 accounts.
One of them was somewhere in the plat range last season, the other one was dia1, JUST got it with brute force before season ended.
This season, I got placed into silver, as I had some unlucky and unfairly matched matches in placements.
On that one acc, after being placed into silver, I pushed myself (2v2 random, no pre) back to plat in one night of quite a handful of matches.
Very honestly, in the silver-gold range, matches felt extremely much worse than my current matches in plat.
When I was in the higher plat-range last season and ended up in diamond, the matches felt more often-times more balanced.
Can’t really tell why.
Of course it’s a lot easier to win matches (in avg) the low the rank-range you play at, given you are “overskilled” in that moment, but still the matches seems extremely unbalanced there.
Oftentimes, you have teammates which are way below the rank you play at, while the enemies are even higher than your own rank of your true skill level.
In that case, of course you don’t lose much rank for a match, but gain a lot when you win, so you pretty quickly win rank throughout in average.
Still, it’s very frustating, that a large amount of matches seems extremely out of balance.
