Probably has something to do with ping/de-sync errors or server prediction.
Do you know if it has happened in singleplayer scenarios?

I don’t recall experiencing this in my SP games.

However, this theory doesn’t make sense to me, because network issues make everything de-sync. In Viper’s case, only the one attacking unit is teleporting.

I had a unit glitching through closed gates in SP recently or units going for a walk in a woodline that should be inaccessible.


It happened with me against the AI. My knight teleported. Basically it got an infinite speed boost for a negligible amount of time. What I mean to say is that the teleport isn’t random, it happened in the direction I wanted to move my unit, and was less than a tile.
