Metal Armor Aztecs

Why do they have it, the feather suit is amazing why throw in inaccurate metal?

To be fair, I don’t see any metal in armor or weapon. There are metals in ornaments and accessories which is consistent with Aztecs.

The Aztecs did practice metallurgy, primarily with gold, silver, and copper for personal ornaments, bells, and ceremonial/ritual objects, but they did not practice iron and bronze metallurgy to the level of Afro-Eurasia. I suggest consulting these articles and their bibliography:

i dont mind the neckless, if they made that change to gold with champions sure. its the arm guards i really don’t like

I assume they needed metal plates for the copper/bronze/iron upgrade aesthetics. Looks like the beak of the helmet and… ankle guards(sandals?) are made out of the same stuff.

+1 on the bracers feeling weird

Would have liked Copper, Jade, Gold jewelry instead

Following the logic of other units, they’re using Silver ornaments because they’re a 3rd Age (III) unit.

In their Elite (IV) version, the Eagle Warrior might wear gold ornaments.

the one around the neck is fine just dont like the bracer. Though at least they kinda have the body suit hopefully the other infantry will have it with armor upgrades cause as it is they look like jungle barabrians

Everything is fine with the eagles.
