It may not be a problem for regular apps but for games, specially online games like AoE, is really important to always keep the game updated.
I have a friend who bought the game on Steam and I only know about the patches through him, when we realize he can’t find my lobby match. Then I have to go to the store and search for updates. Why does the Store let me play an outdated version of the game?
Besides that, I get no news on what is going on with the game. I have no idea what changed or why. Where are the developer logs on this Store?
The only reason I actually got this game from the Store is because the Steam version is stuttering while playing (no idea why).
