Or at least region-specific.

I see AOMR had UI designs unique to each civ. This is a nice feature that existed all the way from AOE1 to AOM but lost in AOE3. It’s true that legacy AOE3 did not have it, but there weren’t civ jingles in legacy either.

Personally I don’t want the UI to look too “modern”.

I said “from AOE1 to AOM” so AOE2 is also included.

But when I come to think about it, AOE2’s UI difference is much smaller than AOE1 and AOM. The latter two have entirely different color schemes and themes, while AOE2 only a different emblem.

Nice idea man but better to have a fixed UI for social and multiplayer before!
