This one is so important;
There are no hotkeys that I can see, for many things. Most importantly, no hotkey for building houses and farms, to start. I almost refunded the game when I first started playing and found these missing (!)

Not sure what you mean. You can switch to fully remappable hotkeys and make your own hotkeys for building any building, including house and farm.
I must have missed that, thanks for clearing it up! I did look through the settings initially but couldn’t find the hotkeys section. It’s not entirely unlikely I have missed it though. I’ll be back at some point
