Removed technologies count towards maximum technologies because they are not properly removed.

The easiest method is to just watch OrnLu’s video.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Start a DM game with standard settings as any civ other than Slavs, Berbers, Saracens, Burgundians, Sicilians.
  2. Resign instantly.
  3. Observe that you have researched around 98% of the techs only.

Slavs and Saracens: Have an additional tech missing because Orthodoxy and Madrasah were not removed, they were just made unable to be researched.
Sicilians and Burgundians: They too have an additional tech missing but that is by design.
Berbers: They have only 1 missing tech, because one of the missing techs is Elite Genitour.

:point_down: What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?
100% techs should be researched theoretically.
Probably the other technology is Hunting Dogs, but I shall get back to it, which is also not removed properly.

I also wonder about some techs that are only available in post-imp but not regular games. Like the Xolotl Warrior post-imp upgrade. How do they interact with %age of techs?

Also how does the game count which technology is researchable, since there are 800+ techs in the game files, but only some are actually technologies.

List of technologies which need to be removed too, since these cannot be researched:
28 - Compass (Automatically researched in games starting in Castle Age)
143 - Shadow Tower Age 4
160 - Swordsman (make avail)
175 - Paladin (make avail)
186 - 2HS Swordsman (make avail)
232 - Chinese team bonus
242 - Make Demolition Ship avail
243 - Make Fire Galley avail
430 - Elite Genitour (this was the Spanish Elite Genitour)
598 - Genitour (make avail)
708 - Cuman Merc (disable)

Other technologies which may be contributing to this cause:
525 - Revetments
527 - Fire Tower
