SLX studio can handle slps from AoE1:DE, it should be fine with AoE2:DE as well.

Also, if AoE2 DE is like AoE DE, it still uses 256 color palettes, it’s just that it has several to chose from, unlike AoE2 where all ingame graphics use the same palette.

What a surprise! I can hardly believe that colorful graphic is made of 256 color images…
