Mods is not working

Issue:

I cant get any mod to work. Iv tried everything to make it work, and googled like ■■■■. Signed in to xbox live, restarted the game 1000 times etc.

I cant click the “Open Directory” button in the mods section either. Which makes me think that i can be somewhat related to the filepath on my computer. Checked the map and the mods are there.

I really want to play this game but as an experienced voobly player, playing without small trees is just a pain.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Start game
  2. Subscribe to mod
  3. restart game
  4. enable mod

Hi Mate,
I have exactly the same problem. I’ve restarting the game, reinstalled AOE2DE. Nothing is working. I have enabled mods but they don’t work in game.

I agree playing without ‘small trees’ is a nightmare.
