And if The Three Kingdoms makes money that’s all they care about. Host a lobby with a original game mod or simply ban the civs in your lobby
Back in 2021, we complained about gimmicky 1 time techs that Sicilians, Burgundians, and even Vietnamese had to offer, and most of them got replaced and the rest at least updated - such as First crusade also adding permanent conversion resistance…even though we would love the serjeant spawn gone completely and replaced by e.g. faster unit recruitment instead…similarly we’d love flemish revolution reworked, but anyway…
So the more negative reviews we give them and the more we upvote good points brought in negative reviews, the more likely they will be to actually listen to us. If the sales go down and so do reviews, then they will know something is wrong.

How about to just ignore the Three Kingdoms DLC?
All companies are like that. “Their” problem is they are not even good at it. They expose their greed and arrogance so blatantly.

You cannot ignore it if you are in multiplayer. Those with DLC will spawn in with 3K and there is nothing you can do about it. It affects the people who don’t want 3K directly.
That why they keep radio silent about the controversy, why would they response to the concern when they made so much money with it. Of course, those who love fantasy 3K romance will buy it and there are a lot of them out there. in the meanwhile, those who bought the DLC just for khitangut and Jurchen…already gave microsoft the money even if they don’t support 3k. Money speaks, and they will do it again in the future with more political factions and more hero units in multiplayer.
It pains me that they abandon the spirit of the game in pursuit of money, but what is just pure malice is that they had to lie to us as well.
The mass market would have bought or not bought 3k no matter what they teased, but they went out of their way to show jurchen and tanguts, tell us they weren’t splitting chinese, only to then split chinese, give us 3k, and give us a botched khitangut chimera.
