More Sheep distribution updates in S9?

Will we get more sheep distribution updates in S9?

The PUP didn’t seem to include an expansion to the sheep distribution updates on maps. I’m hoping the devs have time to include additional maps at the start of Season 9. And I hope they can solve it for both 1v1 and Team maps (e.g. Rocky River has it in 1v1 but Teams still has the old distribution focused around middle and middle edges). I love the update as an improvement to the sheep game and the maps. I really look forward to a Dry Arabia with even distributions.

They said in the patch for S8:

“Developer’s note: We will aim to improve sheep distribution further and implement or revert these changes based on our observation and feedback provided by the community. “

I’d like if sheep was mostly around your base. This way you’d be gambling goin out on the map towards enemy base before circling your own. Next the skip on the map should still be evenly split and in small pockets.

For example assume there is 30 sheep total on the map besides the 5 starting sheep at base. I’d put 10 sheep circling each base then split the 10 remaining 2-3, 2-3 mid map mirrored.

So in this scenario if khan wants to B-line to my base first thing, but i decided to immediately round up my base sheep, i can potentially get most my own sheep and then contend with the khan splitting his base’s sheep!! Aka a legit strategic mini game vs Drushes.
