Mule Carts feel clunky to use

I think the mule carts need to have an option to be unpacked to be placed next to resources, make it so it’s almost insta like goth loom.

Villagers constantly bump into one another and when you drag select the villagers to move them to for example town centre it moves the cart too maybe having an unpack and pack option can prevent this.

This unpack option seems like a good idea. It may also solve my fear of how do I ress wall when MAA show up especially on gold.

You just make a slightly longer wall?

I think the unit needs to be massively changed if it were to become a building you can unpack, sorely because if it becomes an impassable object of 2x2 tile size like Camps, and unpacks/packs immediately, it’ll open really obnoxious quickwalling potential with the mule carts. Ironically, that’d feel like what I think Hussite Wagons were meant to be.

Wouldn’t this kinda defeat the whole purpose of having a unit that can relocate and move along with the woodline automatically? Also when that thing is under attack you want to be able to move it fast so you can garrison it in TC. If you add this pack/unpack mechanism it’ll just die while packing up.

I’d save this to be implemented as a “regional mechanic” for nomadic civs: Mongols, Cumans and Huns.

Sudden idea:
Alongside dropping sites, It could also include houses, replaced with yurts, and, as a civ bonus for one of those civs (preferably Mongols), town centers.
