Issue:
The music does not trigger correctly after having had the game minimised for sometime. This bug appeared to be fixed a couple of builds ago but has returned after the latest patch (at least I stopped having the issue sometime ago but it has returned).
Trigger Event:
Play the game as normal and alt-tab (minimise) the game for a bit and return. The music has stopped triggering; unless you minimised and returned to the game while the current track in the “playlist” was still playing then this issue will not occur at all.
Repro Steps:
- Start or play the game as normal minimise the game and return after sometime the music has stopped triggering correctly, and will only trigger again if the player follows the steps listed in the section below.
Triggering The Music:
- Go to the Music On toggle in the Settings Menu and disable it, press “Save” go back into the settings menu and reenable it with “Apply”. This will cause the music to trigger once again and play the next track in the playlist as intended. This is not fool proof and won’t work 100% in matches or campaign specifically. See “2” for another workaround.
- Keep music enabled in the settings and open any match, mission or video that normally causes the music to trigger this will make the music function as normal in every tested instance.
- Simply restart the game with music enabled and the issue will disappear.
Other
This does not appear to be an audio driver or device related issue it happened regardless of device or driver used. Playing in Windowed or Borderless mode has no effect on this particular issue it happens regardless of the chosen mode of play.
